Usheris celebrating a special birthday!
On Saturday, the “My Boo” singer, 45, shouted out his partner,Jennifer “Jenn” Goicoechea, on Instagram as she turned one year older.
“I couldn’t ask for a better partna. Happy birthday, my love,” he wrote inhis birthday tribute, sharing a black-and-white photo of the pair holding hands and cuddling, as well as a color snapshot of the two kissing.
His post also included a video clip of Goicoechea planting a series of kisses on the head of their 3-year-old daughter,Sovereign Bo.
Usher — whose real name is Usher Raymond IV — and the record industry executive were first romantically linked in June 2019 after they were photographed together at producer Keith Thomas' 40th birthday party. In October of that same year, the pair was spotted kissing backstage at the Hollywood Bowl.
Photographer Jennifer Johnson captured a shot of the romantic moment and shared it onInstagram. " ‘Cause she’s such a good kisser! 💋 Caught a rare moment with @usher backstage the other day. I stay catching moments like these boys be catching feelings!" Johnson wrote.
“Babies always bring such joy to a family, and [I’m] really excited for my young one — well, my bean’s arrival,” he said onGood Morning Americawhile announcing his 2021 Las Vegas residency.
The following year, in September 2021, the pair welcomed a son,Sire Castrello, whose name is a nod to Goicoechea’s late grandfather Champ Castrello. Usher also hastwo sons— Usher “Cinco” Raymond V, 15, and Naviyd Ely, 14 — with ex-wife Tameka Foster.

“They call me D-o-c-t-o-r R-a-y-m-o-n-d 🎓😏🙏🏾,” he declared in his caption.
When the musician closed out his summer residency in Las Vegas in July, he made sure to give Goicoechea a shout-out in a short speech thanking all of the staff and performers. He called out to her as she sat in the audience, praising her as “My GOAT… my love, Jenn.”

The couple has another exciting moment to look forward to in a few months, when Usher takes the stage in February toperform the Super Bowl halftime showin Las Vegas. After the news was announced last month, he spoke about the honor of being selected for the coveted gig.
“This is a moment that I’ve waited my entire life for and I am not coming to disappoint. This is going to be a celebration,” he said during a live interview onCBS Mornings, adding that it was hard to keep the news a secret from his family and friends after he first found out.
“The hardest part is really the suspense,” he said.
