The Real Housewives of New Jerseystar, 51, issued a public response after she and her daughtersGia, 22,Milania, 17, andAudriana, 14, were criticized for partnering with the fast fashion brand Shein for a new collection launched earlier this week.

A representative for Giudice said she had done her “due diligence” to ensure that Shein — which hassparked backlashin the past for allegedly stealing designs from independent designers and for alleged poor working conditions— was a company they wanted to do business with.

“We acknowledge the concerns expressed about our partnership and met with the SHEIN team prior to working together,” a representative for Giudice toldTMZ. “We 100% believe in ethical practices in all capacities and in doing our due diligence have not seen any substantive evidence definitively showing unethical practices.”

Some others had a more positive reaction to the news with one fan writing, “Best collaboration so far!!! When people go low the giudice girls will always go higher. 🤍🤍🤍”
