Not only did the 13-year-old girl start eighth grade this week, she also dropped her debut track as a singer/songwriter!
“She’s so talented,” Judge, 50, said.
She sure is. Barney’s ethereal and highly emotive voice gives the song a haunting quality, making it an instant BOP.
Listeners agree. Since its release on Tuesday, the original song has been played over 30,000 times.
Sophia, who encouraged followers to press the link in her bio to listen to her new song on Instagram, is joining an ongoing roster ofRHOCchildren entering the entertainment industry.

Last year, whenRHOCalumHeather Dubrow’sdaughter Max was just 13 years old, he performed at the Whisky a Go Go alongside the 1970s metal band Quiet Riot.
Current Orange County HousewifeShannon Beadorhas also seen her daughters dip their toes into music. The three girls —Sophie, 16, and twins Stella and Adeline, 13 — performed as Lock (Ladies of Rock) at the Blue Beet (Who could forget their tune, “Dreamcatcher,” which was featured on a previousRHOCseason?).
Meanwhile, if music doesn’t work out for Sophia, she always has fashion.
Earlier this month, Judge complimented her daughter’s style.
Judge has also been focused on style — that is,renovating her Southern California home
“Welcome to my brand new house!” the mom of four said in a tour of the sprawling 4,000-square-foot property, which she and her husband,Eddie, bought for nearly $1.6 million and have been updating since January.
