Goldsmith praised the Princess of Wales as “beautiful on the outside but more beautiful on the inside and really is a doting mum…so the way the monarchy is moving, it’s family-centric.”

Speaking toThe Sun, Goldsmith accused Meghan and Harry of attempting to “reinvent history” with their recollections of royal life.

“I think everyone felt the same about how much did we love Harry. Throwing your family under the bus just seemed inappropriate, especially what was happening with the Queen," Goldsmith said, referring to the failing health and death ofQueen Elizabethat age 96 on Sept. 8, 2022. “I just thought it was totally unnecessary.”
