Julianne Houghis headed to the Great White Way!
The actress and singer, 33, will make herBroadwaydebut inPOTUS:Or, Behind Every Great Dumbass are Seven Women Trying to Keep Him Alive, according toa Tuesday announcementon the play’s official Twitter.
Hough stars in a hilarious compilation video alongside costarsVanessa Williams,Rachel Dratch, Suzy Nakamura,Lea DeLaria,Lilli CooperandJulie Whiteto share the news.
The actresses will play the seven women in the title of the play which, according toan official description, is “a riotous comedy about the women in charge of the man in charge of the free world.”
“I am incredibly humbled and honored to be joining [director Susan Stroman], [playwright Selina Fillinger] and this extraordinarily talented cast and crew for my Broadway debut,” she adds.

“The more I started to think about these women, the farce started to write itself,” she said.
According to Fillinger, 28,POTUSis not based on one specific individual but “an amalgamation of many men in power.”
“I set it in the White House because that’s the highest office in the land, but you could set it in any company and any institution and many homes,” she told theTimes.

WhilePOTUSwill mark Hough’s Broadway debut, she previously starred as Sandy in 2016’sGrease Liveand the film version ofRock of Agesin 2012.
POTUSwill begin preview performances on Broadway at the Shubert Theater on April 14, before an official opening on May 9, according to theTimes.
