The Borings ( yes , yes , haw haw ) live on a “ clearly marked ” secret road near Pittsburgh , PA . Two year ago , they sued Google for intrusion of concealment , claiming that Google ’s intrusion somehow decreased their property value . All of their charges weredismissedexcept for one count which accused Google of trespassing on their property to take the picture . After all , Google had put up incontrovertible grounds on its own internet site that its street view machine had drive up the tiny route .
And , hey , they come through ! Google has admitted to trespassing , and will yield the Borings $ 1 . “ This is one mellisonant dollar bill of exoneration , ” the Borings tell . “ Google could have just sent us an apology letter in the very beginning , but opt to attempt to evidence they had a legal right to be on our land . We are glad they ultimately dedicate up . ” These guys must be the world ’s big Bing fans .
