From the moment I go far to our studio lot and commence work , I was eager and excited to read the hand to find out how my character becomes the Gold Ranger . I will never block the high-pitched degree of excitement I felt when I was lastly give a backbreaking transcript of the eighth instalment . I started reading the handwriting forthwith and buy the farm through so many emotion . It was everything I stargaze it would be and more . I was so excited and ready to become a Power Ranger .
io9 : Tell us a minuscule bit about the day on circle you shot the minute Nate became the Gold Ranger . What was that like for you ?
Rodriguez : The 24-hour interval I shot the scene where Nate becomes the Gold Power Ranger will forever be one of the best experience and memories of my life . I recollect getting more and more dying and unrestrained as the day draw nearer . Once the daylight at long last come , I woke up so hyped , happy , and ready to take such an epic and life - change scene for Nate . I knew that from the minute Nate became the Gold Ranger , his living would never be the same . He would never go back to being just the kid superstar and lead story scientist , but he would also become a part of the Power Rangers team , fight against evil , and protect the Morphin Grid alongside his best friends . It was a huge character spark for Nate . I was ready to give it my all and delight every moment of this epic and legendary shift . I had an absolute eruption filming this vista take after take . It will everlastingly be one of my preferred scenes and always contain a special place in my heart .

Rodriguez : It is such a special belief to be a part of the Gold Ranger bequest . To be in the same grouping of characters as Tommy Oliver is just unreal and super awesome ! It ’s an honor to be a part of a particular and singular group of Rangers . GO GOLD ! ! !
