My initial testing with the G8 + was withCall of Duty Mobile . I download the secret plan onto my iPad Mini and get it up after pairing the accountant . The game recognized I was using a controller decently away , and once I started a match , I was motivate around in - biz just like I would with any other control . It was tranquil for a few minutes , but the left analog stick suddenly would n’t move up . The G8 + joystick was stuck in the down side for some reason , give me moonwalk across Memnos Island . sure as shooting , I was aiming accurately while walk backward , but that was not a great first impression for the review .

I attempt to repair the problem by unpairing the controller , forgetting it on my iPad Mini , and then re - pair . This time around , the left over analogue control stick immediately became stuck in the down place without grant me a second to utilise the controller like normal .

To ensure this was n’t aCoD Mobileproblem , I started the Xbox app to see how the comptroller would handle playing on a console via cyclosis . There was no difference , as the controller ’s leave analog reefer was still in the down position .

GameSir made the G8 + sluttish to trade out components like buttons and sticks and even include extra in the boxful . The hardware , however , was just not the problem .

It was supposed to appear once and disappear after a few seconds , but now this message shows up constantly . This could be a unearthly Bluetooth connection issue , although it ’s grueling to say with the G8 + .

Most of my problem with the G8 + control come out to be firmware - related , but I have an issue with the design . Because the G8 + use Bluetooth , a machine does n’t need to associate directly , but I bid it did .
Since the tablet is physically bigger than the G8 + , the side baffle out when it ’s clamped into the handle . This mean that part of the tablet may catch on something and tilt up . When this happened to me , I realized that having a twist plugged into the actual controller prevents this inadvertent move , which made me wish for some connector for that one reason .

The G8 + controller has everything . It should be an easy recommendation for a tablet drug user who wants a controller grip for it . Its $ 79.99 price tag is low-cost , and the controller feels good and has a solid battery life . However , the issues I meet during the G8 + followup dragged down the experience . I go for many of these microcode problems will be address after the launch . Until then , you should hold off on pick this up .
