Firefox , the web browser app that hath taken back the Web , is inching closer to another release milestone , version 2.0 . Release candidate 3 , or RC3 for the nerds in the house , might well be the last release campaigner before reading 2.0 officially goes live . What are some of the feature you may expect to enjoy ( or detest ) once you kick upstairs ? I think a leap is in order .
So Firefox 2.0 get several change to the Web internet browser that unresolved source built . Some of the ones you ’ll immediately notice admit :
•New optical melodic theme . Yup , the ‘ dodger look unlike all decent . Hooray ( ? )
•Built - in inline spell check . Handled by an annex before , spell assay is now bolted onto the entanglement web web browser .
•Tab enhancements . Each tab now has an “ 10 ” in the top correct recession alternatively of the one “ X ” in the tab bar . New windows now automatically open in a new tab rather than a separate window .
•Session restore . So far , I ’ve only seen this work after a crash , but fundamentally Firefox remembers all the tab and window that were open when things go haywire .
Many on the Interweb title that these enhancements are nothing more than feature film creep at its finest . Any opinions on this ?
