My good friend Randy Burns is an Engineering Technologist at Appalachian State University’sNC Center for Engineering Technologies . He suggested that we rapid epitome our reading of the archos nanobot as an workout to inspire Ashley and usher in her to the world of engineering and product ontogenesis .
At the lab , following Randy ’s guidance , Ashley was allowed to mesh the material deposit auto herself , which , layer by bed , constructed scaled - up solid model prototypes of our excogitation .
We made two so we could send one to Mr. Carlson himself . Now let ’s just check that they do n’t get on the loose !
