Many of the trees I have photograph have go because they are out of reach of civilization ; on mountainsides , private estates , or on protected soil . Certain metal money survive only in a few isolated areas of the world . For illustration ; there are 6 species of spectacular baobabs , find only on the island of Madagascar . Sadly , the baobab is now one of the three most endangered species on the island .

The criterion I use for choosing peculiar tree are basically three : age , vast size or notable history . I explore the locations by a number of method ; chronicle books , botanical Holy Scripture , tree cash register , paper article and information from friends and traveler .

stand as the world ’s largest and Old living monuments , I think these symbolic tree will take on a keen signification , especially at a clock time when our focus is mastermind at finding better means to live with the environment , celebrating the wonders of nature that have survived throughout the centuries . By feeling a bombastic sense of time , grow a kinship with the raw world , we bear that cognizance with us as it becomes a part of who we are . I can not imagine a good way to commemorate the lives of the world ’s most dramatic tree , many which are in danger of destruction , than by parade their portrayal .
