As far as sound go , the Droid is an Olympic god . A supermodel . A moving picture lead . But without multitouch , it ’s a movie champion with rickets , and awkward inflection . That is : gently disappointing ! That ’s where the Dolphin browser app comes in .

At first glimpse the web browser app is a bit of a passel : its Android Market itemization is subliterate , and its interface — the tabs , specifically — look kind of assy on the Droid ’s higher - closure screen . Beyond the bug , though , it ’s a capable web browser app , with gesture support , RSS integration and yes , multitouch .
Dolphin ’s multitouch execution works on a phone number of handsets apart from the Droid , from the Hero , which supports multitouch out of the box , to Cyanogen - modded G1s and MyTouch 3Gs , which do n’t . It works much better on faster hardware though : where it ’s a bit laggy on a breed Hero , it ’s surprisingly smooth on Motorola ’s speedier terminator phone . At any pace , it ’s detached , and useable now in the Market , so , go . [ DolphinviaEngadget Mobile ]
