With its colourful furry coat and chrome handle , the Libratone Live looks like a weird nouveau - design physical object until you realize it has five perfumed drivers under the hood : one bass , two midranges and two ribbon tweeters . laurel wreath loudspeaker are thin and lightweight so they provide excellent eminent - frequency response . Ribbon verbaliser are also rare because they ’re usually very expensive . Not that this $ 700 unit is cheap , but at least you know you ’re not just give to put a fancy sweater on your strait .
