“The best secret of all time,” the 29-year-old father wrote in the Instagram caption. “Introducing Carter Rae Crispen.”
The season 20 runner-up announced that he and his fiancée welcomed their daughter on Sunday, Jan. 12, and shared how much the new parents love their new addition. “The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. Your mama and I love you more than anything in this world.”

He then cheekily acknowledged the double announcement. “My fiancée (oh yeah, double surprise) wanna thank all of our close friends & fam for helping us keeping this little secret and showering her and us with all the love,” he wrote.
“I am the luckiest guy on the planet,” he concluded before jokingly signing off, “PS. Have you ever seen a harder launch?”
He previously said on the Aug. 14 episode ofThe Exclusive with Sharon Tharppodcast that he and his fiancée spoke about keeping their relationship private “early on,” saying: “If anything it just strengthens the connection because it can be hard for someone that is in the public eye to be with someone that’s not.”
