Better Off Tedhas for sure hit its tread with geeky quality Lem and Phil . While Portia de Rossi ’s mentality is easy beguile up , it ’s the scientists who express this endearing little sitcom .
This week , Lem address his ire at Phil for allowing Veridian Dynamics to freeze him for one twelvemonth ( thankfully , he was accidentally thaw out after a few day ) . Phil had completely forgotten how this would dramatically change Lem ’s life ( since they ’d been lab partners for ten years as well ) . It was so adorable , I could blazon out when the two get in a spat and made up . Seriously if Ted gets canned I ’m going to escape these two the most .
Also in this episode , Veridian Dynamics wanted to grow their own boeuf ( cow free ) with Portia de Rossi spearheading the developments . Last week I mention that I still had n’t really react to Portia ’s quality , but this sequence concede a much heavy pay - off . Mainly because she cease being “ scary boss ” and examine to blab out to the common man , and her maculation on timing really nailed it – from trying to score Phil into not sue the fellowship , to produce a fake award that she later coveted . I ’m not so certain how much staying index this character has , but I ’m in for at least a time of year .

But I worry that he may finally necessitate something else to do beside yearn after the new office employee , because it ’s the 2d episode and I ’m already tired of this going - nowhere relationship . All in all it was another sweet minuscule half minute that I enjoyed – more so than what ’s become of a lot of other boob tube sitcoms ( coughing cough Scrubs ) . But it still ca n’t hold a candle to 30 Rock ’s wit or How I Met Your Mothers ’ pith . Hopefully Ted can cipher out what type of show it is fast , before people hold on watching , because I require more Lem and Phil .
