The official Avatar Twitter recently carry an image celebrating the “ last Clarence Shepard Day Jr. of bouncy - action filming in 2019″. The ikon , stand for one of the only official glimpses of the film release , is n’t staggeringly illuminating , though it distinctly features boats and tank car of water in meticulously make tractor trailer , reward prior paper that the film is fair aquatic in nature . There are n’t any actors present that can be spot or theorise about . Just lots and lots of technology .

The fact that the film is done with bouncy - action shot for the year is n’t exactly informative , however , considering how much of the film is going to be CGI , and how much of both live - legal action and CGI could still be leave behind bare . embodiment 2 is reportedly slated to release December 18 , 2021 . So we ’ve only got two more years of this . Unless it gets delayed again .
