While appearing on Thursday’s episode ofLate Night with Seth Meyers, theM3GANactress, 35, chatted with hostSeth Meyers, 49, about her 2-year-old son Arlo, reflecting on how much he’s grown in the last few years.

“I watch him make the sounds newborns make and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, he was trying to tell us so much.’ And we didn’t know! We just thought he was . . . you know, had a dirty diaper or something, but he was trying to ask very complex questions.”
“Yes. It is funny how you can . . . you can’t think . . . you can look backwards,” Meyers said. “You can see him now and you can’t project forward. But you can go, ‘Oh yeah, you were gonna be this the whole time.’ "
“Yeah, and he is just consistently that guy,” Williams responded.

Earlier this week, the actress appeared on Wednesday’s episode ofLive with Kelly & Mark, telling hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that her dad, Brian Williams, had beenbragging about his grandparent skills.
“It is so impressive. And he and Alexander raced once, and I don’t want to embarrass either of them but it was very close. There might have been cheating. It was like, a big deal,” she revealed.
